Note: Clarinda Herald Journal- Bruce Hensley McClarnon 75, of Braddyville, died May 12, 1985 at St Francis Hospial in Maryville, where he had been admitted earlier in the day. He was born Dec. 18, 1909 at Braddyville, the son of Lewis Robert and Mary Catherine Hensley McClarnon. On Sept. 8, 1938, he was married in Clarinda to Faye Stewart who survies. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include four children, Mrs. Max (Eleanor) Moore of Clarinda; Mrs. Carl (Elaine) Henneman of Independence, Mo; Mrs. Robert (Mary Ann) Fokken of Gladstone, Mo; and Howard McClarnon of Braddyville; 12 grandchildren; seven greatgranchildren; one brother, Eldon MCClarnon of Excelsior Springs, Mo and one sister, Charleen Shepherd of Omaha. Preceding him in death were his parents; a grandson Matthew Craig McClarnon, a duaghter-in-law, Mickey, two brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held this Wednesday at 10:30 am at Walker-Merrick Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Shearer Cemetery near Braddyville. Visitation will be this Tuesday fron 7-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorials will be used in the Braddyville area.
