Note: Emma Smith was the sister of Alice Margaret. She was married to Elijah Royce who was a fisherman on 24 April 1874 at Saint Andrews Church. The father of Elijah was John who was born in 1811 at Bircham in Norfolk and was a Shoemaker by trade. and lived in Strand Street Grimsby. The witnesses at her marriage were Isaac Smith (her brother) and Elizabeth Royce.
