 d 17 Feb 1918, American Bible House, Stamboul, Constantinople of pneumonia with complications. Death certificate issued by Dr. Theodore Zlocisti, German Red Cross. Had a wife, Caroline nee Bruller, and 2 children, Thomas & Pauline in Constantinople. Sister - Mrs. M.A. Atkins, 40 Vernon St., West Medford, Mass
  Made will 15 Feb 1918. Witnesses signed affidavit that all were present at the bedside at the making of the will. Wife was to be the sole beneficiary. Executors were wife and Luther R. Fowler of the Bible House. Witnesses were Joseph V. Streater, Hans Heitmann and Rachel B. North. Died soon after midnight on Sunday morning, 17 Feb 1918. Body borne from Bible House to Chapel of the Dutch Legation in Pera. 3 p.m. service conducted by Rev. C. F. Gates, President of Robert College, and burial at American Section of the Ferik�y cemetery at 4:30.
