Notes
a. Note:   Debbie Wenner Frost is a researcher for this line: My Great-Uncle, Donald Wenner hired Genealogist Madam Marie-Odile Peres. She found many records in Steinseltz and Oberhoffen. All records (birth, marriage, and death records) verify the Wenner surname spelling as WENNER! There appears to be some Wenner families whose surname was Anglicized and became "Wenner" after they moved to America. This is not the case with our family surname.
The oldest family link is Simon Wenner born about 1657 and died 2 Nov 1742. I have not been able to verify siblings or parents. Simon married 13 Feb 1692 Maria Dorothea Beyerfalck born about 1664 and died 20 Sep 1732.
Known Children of Simon and Maria Dorothea, I have been able to verify are: 1. Johann Michel Wenner b. 5 Feb 1702; d. 8 Feb 1729, Oberhoffen; m. 8 Feb 1729, Oberhoffen, Anna Marie Rupp b. about 1702; d. unknown. Publication marriage notice 8 Feb 1729 ofJohann Michel Wenner son of Simon Wenner and Anna Maria Rupp daughter of Johann Michel Rupp, once a burgher in Oberhoffen. Maria Margaretha Wenner b. 1708; d. 1795; m. 15 Jan 1732 Philipp Jacob Edelmann
Johann Michel Wenner b. 5 Feb 1702; d. 8 Feb 1729, Oberhoffen; m. 8 Feb 1729, Oberhoffen, Anna Marie Rupp b.about 1702; d. unknown. Known Children of Michel and Anna Marie are: 1.
