  Publication: Charleston Gazette (Charleston, West Virginia) Published: Monday, September 24, 1951 Page 6 Headline: Mrs. Effie Campbell Dies of Heart Attack Mrs. Effie Campbell, 78, of Wallgrove, died of a heart attack yesterday at the home of a grandson, Roy Hughes of Elkview. She was the widow of Jess Campbell. Mrs. Campbell was a member of First Baptist Church in Clendednin. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jess Cook of South Charleston and Mrs. Ira Hughes of Elkview; one son, Dewey Campbell of Zionsville, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Robertson, of Clendenin, Mrs. Uma Siders of Elkview and Mrs. Minnie Vandal of Charleston; one brother, Enos Light of Ciendenin; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body is at Hess and Harper Mortuary in Clendenin.
