  Publication: Charleston Gazette, p. 14 Published: Thursday, March 16, 1950: Headline: Foster, Cloaude (sic) Smith Service for Cloaude (sic) Smith Foster, 45, will be at 2 p. m. today at his home at Brownsville, Fayette County, where he died Tuesday. Rev. Mont Carr will officiate and burial will be in Dickerson Cemetery, with Thomas Mortuary at Ansted in charge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Mae Foster; three sons, Charles, Walter and Thomas, all of Gauley Bridge; three daughters, Miss Kathleen Belle Foster of Elliott and Georgia Ann Foster and Mary Magdalene Foster, both of Gauley Bridge; his mother, Mrs. Paulina Foster of Clifty; a brother, Herbert of Clifty; and a sister, Mrs. Holly Mae Gross (sic) of Lockwood.
