Harmon Has Fatal Attack Ansted – Emory Druery Harmon, 65, of Route 1, Ansted was dead on arrival Monday at a Montgomery hospital. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack. Born July 2, 1908, at Waxhaw, N. C., he was a son of the late S. O. and Daisy Helms Harmon. He was a retired employe of Union Carbide Metals Corp., a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Edith McVey Harmon; one son, Roger Harmon of Palmerto, Pa.; one brother, Clayton Harmon of Lancastrer, S. C., and one sister, Mrs. Maggie Morrison of Lake Worth, Fla. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Dodd-Payne Funeral Home Chapel at Fayetteville with Rev. B. J. Sowards in charge. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today.
