Mrs. Gill, the former Amanda Wood, is a daughter of the late Steward "Sty" Wood and Margaret Townsend Wood. She was born near Ansted Feb. 14, 1879, but the family later lived at Edmond, where she attended school. In 1899, she was married to the late Mack Gill of Edmond. Her children are Miss Nellie Gill and Miss Kathleen Gill, both of Ansted, Alfred of Dradenton, Fla., Rondal of South Charleston, Ray, Aubrey and John, all of Flint, Mich., and Allen of Trenton, Mich. She has 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Born Feb. 14, 1878, at Ansted, she was a daughter of the late Stewart E. and Margaret Townsend. She had lived in Ansted for 40 years and was a member of Ansted Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Miss Nellie Gill and Kathlene Gill, both at home; five sons, Raymond of Flint, Mich., Alfred of Brandtown, Fla., Randal of South Charleston, Allan of Trenton, Mich., and Aubrey of Nashville, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Chapel in Ansted with Rev. Billy Sams and Rev. D. McNeeely in charge. Burial will be in High Lawn Memorial Park at Oak Hill. Frineds may call after 6 p.m. today.
