  Publication: The Charleston Gazette Published: September 12, 1989 Headline: Mrs Alice Dent Deep Water - Mrs. Alice Dent, 79, of Deep Water, Fayette County, died Sept. 10, 1989, in Montgomery General Hospital, Montgomery, after a long illness. She was a retired LPN from Montgomery Hospital, a member of Deep Water United Methodist Church and a lifelong resident of Deep Water. Surviving: stepdaughter, Betty Petry of Orlando, Fla., stepson, Neil (sic, Neal) Dent Jr. of Clarksburg; sisters, Reba Manly (sic, Manley) of Montgomery Heights, Martha Rogers of Fayetteville, N.C.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at B.C. Hooper Funeral Home, Montgomery, with the Rev. Charles Stevens and the Rev. Tim Halloran officiating. Burial will be in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
