  Publication: The Charleston Gazette Published: October 26, 1993 Headline: Delmer C. Rhodes Delmer C. Rhodes, 89, of Charleston died Oct. 23, 1993, at General Division, CAMC, after a short illness. He was a capper for Libby-Owens-Ford, with 43 years' service. He was a member of the Mountain Mission and a lifelong resident of Charleston. Surviving: wife, Nettie E. Ingram Rhodes; daughters, Barbara Rhodes of St. Albans, Sharon Waugh of Dunbar; sons, L.W. "Corkey" of Charleston, Richard L. of Hurricane; sisters, Vaye Woods of Fall Rock, W.Va., Amma Craft of Clendenin; brother, Arlon of Elkview; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Long-Fisher Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. J.E. "Budd" Legg officiating. Burial will be in Legacy Memorial Gardens, Cross Lanes. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
