  Publication: The Huntsville Item Published: March 04, 2007 Headline: Betty L. King Betty Lee King, 75, of Riverside, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2007, in Huntsville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brooke Funeral Home Chapel, 672 FM 980 with the Rev. Warren Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Brooke Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Doal King, sister, Lois Kresge and her husband Floyd. She is survived by her daughter, Judi Merritt and husband Randy of Pasadena, TX.; two sisters, Dottie Morgan and husband Cal of Riverside, Marylou Stowers and husband Dick of St. Albans, WV.; two grandsons, Michael Bryan and Kyle Merritt; many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Betty King Memorial Fund in care of Riverside United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
