Boggess Mrs. Ossie Elizabeth Boggess, 68, 1045 Nease Drive, died Dec. 2, 1988, in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was former employee of the state Department of Employment Security. She was a member of Parsons Chapel Church. She was a lifelong resident of Charleston. Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Jeane Pennington and Miss Janie Pote, both of Charleston; sons, David D. of Leesburg, Va., Larry A. of Sissonville, Wilmer H. of Charleston; sisters, Miss Rebecca Macel Ingram and Mrs. Alice M. Comer, both of Charleston; brothers, John R. Ingram of Sissonville, B. Freeman Ingram, N.F. Tay Ingram, James C. Ingram Sr. and Ray Ingram, all of Charleston, Tommy Lee Tucker of Summersville, S.C.; seven grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Roger Mullins and the Rev. Eugene Garlow officiating. Burial will be in Ingram family cemetery, Poca River.
