Coffman, 59, of Page, Fayette County, was dead on arrival Tuesday at Oak Hill Hospital. He was a retired miner and was a member of the Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge. Mr. Coffman was a native of Winona. Surviving: wife, Avenelle Canterbury Coffman; sons, Clifford Ray of Alexandria, Va., Thomas D. Jr. and Roger Dale, both of Cleveland, Ohio, Edward James at home; daughters, Mrs. Vona Lee Ely of Washington D. C., Mrs. Bonnie Sue Burgess of Carlisle, Mrs. Virginia Carol Bunting of Chicago, Mrs. Eunice Lange of Leavenworth, Kan., Miss Patricia Naomi Coffman at home; brothers, Charles, address not listed, Clifford of Akron, Ohio, Mack of Oak Hill, Ernest of Fort Pierce, Fla., Alfred of Oak Hill, Ralph of Spring Valley, Ill.; sisters, Mrs. Jo Lena Sabatinis of Fayetteville, Mrs. Marie Parsons of Holden, Mrs. Lillian Gill of Summerlee, Mrs. Frances Mullins of Ravenswood; 13 grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with the Rev. Ernest Barley officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
