Funeral services for Mr. West will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home, Columbia, with the Rev. Mark Dillon and the Rev. Rick Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia. He was a native of Charleston, W.Va., the son of the late Odbert and Goldie Brown West. He was the husband of 39 years of Patricia Harrison West of Summertown. He was a graduate of Dupont High School and Charleston Academy in Charleston. He was a hair stylist and former owner of Bob West Hair Stylist in Charleston, and was a member of the Oak Springs Church. He had attended the New Life Church in Columbia. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Natalie Evans and husband, Rick, of Columbia, Susan Killingsworth and husband, Danny, of Nashville, and Ann Mastin and husband, Lanny, of Ponca City, Okla.; one son, Robert West of Summerstown; seven grandchildren; one sister, Sue O'Neil of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.; one brother, Darrel of Hurricane, W.Va. Pallbearers will be Rob West, Rick Evans, Danny Killingsworth, Lanny Mastin, Christopher Mastin and Nathaniel Evans.
