She was born May 16, 1913, in Petersburg, Va., and lived in Sarasota for many years before moving to Sun City Center. She was a homemaker. She was a Catholic. She was a past volunteer docent at the Ringling Museum of Art and a volunteer at the Sarasota Mental Health Association. Survivors include her husband, Tierso George; a daughter, Paulette V. Schindler of Sarasota; a sister, Edith Mollahan of Nesbith, Miss.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The liturgy will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Martha's Catholic Church. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to St. Martha's School, 801 N. Orange Ave., Sarasota, FL 34236.
