a. Note:   Publication: The Gaffney Ledger Published: December 17, 2004 Headline: Annie M. Ruppe - Gaffney native; last surviving member of immediate family Annie Myrtis Ruppe, 80, formerly of 719 W. Smith St., died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Miss Ruppe was born on Aug. 23, 1924, in Gaffney and was a daughter of the Jethro and Virlie Quinn Ruppe. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was a homemaker and member of West End Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Miss Ruppe was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth R. Ruppe. Graveside services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by Pastor Lewis Batchelor and Brother Jason Elder. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at West End Baptist Church prior to the service. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, 400 Overbrook Dr., Gaffney, S.C. 29340; or to the Senior Center of Cherokee County, 499 W.
