Publicaton: Charleston Gazette (Charleston, West Virginia) Published: Wednesday, January 10, 1951 Page 2 Headline: Short Illness Fatal To Retired Railman Otto Christian (Doc) Shultz, 77, retired employe of the Virginia Railway Co., died early yesterday morning in a Charleston hospital after a short illness. He resided at 523 Wyoming St. He was a lifelong resident of Charleston and engine hostler for the Virginia Railway Co., for 25 years. He retired in 1941. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Shultz, and two stepsons, R. L. and E. C. Taylor, both of Charleston. The body is at the Wilson Mortuary.
