a. Note:   Publication: Herald-Journal (Spartanburg, SC) Published: March 2, 2003 Page: B4 Headline: Brandon T. Ruppe Brandon Thomas Ruppe, 16, of 905 Florence St. died March 1, 2003, at his home. A native of Spartanburg, he was the son of Lyman Dale and Pamela Maynor Ruppe. He was a tenth-grade student at Gaffney High School and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his parents is his maternal grandmother, Grace Maynor of the home. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Southside Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Wofford Caughman and the Rev. Alan Peeler. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 407 N. Limestone St., Gaffney, SC, 29340.

A native of Spartanburg, he was the son of Lyman Dale Ruppe and Pamela Maynor Ruppe. He was a 10th grade student at Gaffney High School in the Gifted and Talented Program. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Grace Maynor of the home. Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Maynor, and paternal grandparents, Walmer and Elvada Ruppe. Services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Wofford Caughman and Alan Peeler. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Glenn Ruppe, Alan Ruppe, Ricky Ruppe, Alex Ruppe, Jason Ruppe, Rick Wilkins, Mike Mullinax, Butch Mathis and Adam Ruppe. The family will receive friends tonight from 7-9 at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the residence. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 407 N.
