Neil Jr., 59, of 1655 Woodvale Drive, died Monday in General Division, CAMC, after a short illness. He was a chemical engineer and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was a retired employee of Union Carbide. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of American Society of Chemical Engineers. Surviving: wife, Olive; son, Timothy of Bardonia, N.Y.; daughters, Beverly Schnitker of California, Jeanne Helmick of Cross Lanes; mother, Lillian Neil of Charleston; sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Whitaker of Glendale, Calif., Mrs. Thelma Watson of Georgetown, Fla. , Mrs. Olga Smith of Fairmont, Mrs. William Mullens of Memphis, Tenn .; brother, Robert G. of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren. Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Wilson Funeral Home,. Charleston, with the Rev. Lester Ringham officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
