A retired coal miner, he was a member of the Graydon Methodis Church. Survivors include two half brothers, George and Arthur, both of Chimney Corner; and three half-sisters, Mrs. Edith Harmon of Fayetteville, Mrs. Hallie Porter of Ansted and Mrs. Nettie Buttner of Chimney Corner. The body is at Dodd-Payne Mortuary in Fayetteville. Arrangements are incomplete.
