Daniel settled in that part of Essex Co. that became Spotsylvania Co. in 1722, then later Culpeper Co.
Daniel was mentioned frequently in the vestry book of St. Mark’s Parish.
He and Elizabeth lived near the dividing line of Orange and Culpeper Counties.
His will was dated 11 Mar 1745 and admitted for probate 26 Mar 1747 in Orange Co. VA. (WB 2. p. 105, Orange Co. Records)
Note: In 1704 Daniel owned 150 acres and his father owned 450 acres in Essex
