Publication: Post Herald and Register Published: Sunday, May 22, 1960 Headline: Martha Armstrong Final rites for Mrs. Martha Ellen Armstrong, Scarbro, Rt. 1, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Fair View Methodist Church, East Kingston with the Rev. C. O. Walker and the Rev. Howard Wriston in charge. Burial will be in the Wriston Cemetery, Scarbro, Rt. 1. The 95 year old woman died at home of a son, Clyde Armstrong, Scarbro Rt. 1, at 12:08 am. Saturday after a long illness. Born at Loop Creek, April 12, 1865, she was a daughter of the late John and Amanda Johnson Wriston. She has a son Hobart of Rt. 1, Scarbro; one daughter, Mrs. Ed Harless of Pax, one brother, Henry C. Wriston, Tulsa, OK. Nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren.
