  The last will and testament of Amos Wood, deceased. I, Amos Wood of Fayette County, Virginia, do hereby make my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say: 1st: I give my two sons Feliso A. & William my tract of land on which I now live containing about two hundred acres, for which they are to pay to my three daughters, Virginia, Matilda & Margaret the sum of Twenty Dollars to each one which is to be paid in good property when the youngest child becomes of age, provided the land is not lost by an older right. 2nd: I give to my three daughters, Virginia, Matilda & Margarett all my beds and beding, to be equally divided among them. 3rd: All my other property of whatsoever kind it may be not herein disposed off is to be sold, and after my just debts and funeral expenses are paid is to be equally divided among my five children, Virginia, Feliso, Matilda, William and Margarett. 4th: The farm is to be rented out to the best advantage and the profits if necessary to be applied to the support of my children and the remaining surplus resulting from the farm over the decent support of the children, it is to be equally divided among them all until the time when my son, William, becomes of age at which time the land is to be given up to and divided between my two sons, Feliso and William. I do hereby constitute and appoint my brothers Elijah and Allen Wood, executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other and former wills and testaments by me heretofore made, in withness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 24th day of May, eighteen hundred and forty five, signed, sealed, published and declared as for the last will and testament of Amos Wood.
