  Publication: Post-Herald And Register Published: Sunday Morning, February 2, 1958 Headline: Funeral Monday For Zela Woman Summersville - Mary Elizabeth Morris, 74, Zela died Friday afternoon in a Montgomery hospital after a long illness. She was a life-long resident Nicholas County. Survivors include her husband Charles F. Morris; six sons, Ray, Zela; C. Julian, Oak Hill; Waller R., Alloy; Cecil F., Beckley; Clyde J., Charleston; and Pete, Dunbar; two daughters: Mrs. Harvey Stewart, Glen Daniel, and Mrs. Nell Nottingham, Charleston,S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Ditha Nutter, Montgomery; 24 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Pierson Chapel Methodist Church, Zela, with Rev. J. E. Fairburne, officiating. Burial will be made in Highland Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Tne body was removed from the Waters Funeral Home, Summersville, to the residence of the son, Ray, at 6 p.m. Saturday and will be taken to the church one hour before the service.
