  Publication: The Charleston Gazette Published: March 23, 2003 Headline: Eva E. Burgess Eva E. Burgess, 92, of Charleston passed away, March 20, 2003, in Arthur B. Hodges Center. Surviving are sisters, Bertha Ellis of Cross Lanes, and Orva Pauley of Kanawha City; several nieces and nephews. Service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Fairley McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Burgess-Baldwin Cemetery, Sissonville. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
