He was a retired auto body mechanic and a veteran of World War II. Surviving: sisters, Bertha Ellis and Eva Burgess, both of Charleston, Orva Pauley of Elkview. Service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Means officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today....
