She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by husbands, Okey Chapman and Ed Pauley. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Connie Hanshaw and husband, James of Sissonville, and Alma Chapman of South Charleston; sister, Bertha Ellis of Nitro; three grandchildren, Randy Shilling and Tammie Harper, both of St. Albans, and Kimberly Shilling of Sissonville; five great-grandchildren; special niece, Helen Naylor and her husband, Ralph, of Cross Lanes. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Cantley officiating.
