a. Note:   Publication: The Register-Herald Published: April 10, 2003 Headline: Hobert Jarrell Ravenswood - Hobert Jarrell, 93, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at Ravenswood Village Center. Born March 1, 1910, at Pine Knob, Raleigh County, he was the son of the late Samuel Jarrell and Etta Hunter Jarrell. Mr. Jarrell was owner of Jarrell's Esso Gas Station in Naoma. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia J. Jelsomine of Westmont, Ill., and Flora E. Crider of New Creek; a son, Charles S. Jarrell of Ravenswood; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Union Chapel, Pine Knob, with the Revs. Jeremy McClain and Jason Perlak officiating. Burial will follow in Jarrell Cemetery, Pine Knob. Friends may call noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Union Chapel. Friends may visit 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Second Baptist Church, Ravenswood, where a memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage Christian Academy, Elmwood and Washington streets, Ravenswood, WV 26164. Arrangements by Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood.
