Publication: The Charleston Daily Mail Published: September 24, 2005 Headline: Patsey Ann Wenger Patsey Ann Wenger, 96, of Arbovale passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, at Pocahontas Continuous Care Center, Marlinton. Born June 30, 1909, at Boomer, she was the daughter of the late Edward Thomas and Lula May Taylor Petry. She was a homemaker and a member of Arbovale United Methodist Church, the Women Senior Citizens Club and the Home Extension Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Wenger; a daughter, Alma Mae Cain; four sisters, Vada May Ramsey, Freda Rose Valentine, Garnet Hensley and Gladys Arreta; three brothers, William Jehu Petry, Thomas Warren Petry and Paul Clayton Petry; and three grandchildren, Darlene "Candy" Cain, Donald Cain and Denise "Sugar" Cain. Survivors: grandchildren, Dianna Doughty of South Carolina, Debbie Cain Trainer of Marlinton, Dennis Cain of Buckeye, David Cain of Dunmore and Donna Buttino of Michigan; 16 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at Arbovale United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Mann officiating. Burial will be in Arbovale Cemetery, Arbovale.
