Note: Publication: The Charleston Gazette Published: December 11, 1998 Headline: John Lewis Werner Mount Lookout - John Lewis Werner, 81, of Mount Lookout, formerly of Middleport, died Dec. 9, 1998, in Summersville Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Middleport, attended Southern Baptist Fellowship, Summersville, was former operator of Werner Radio, a member of the Rotary and a ham radio operator. Surviving: wife, Anna McClung Werner; stepsons, Mark McClung and Marvin A. McClung, both of Mount Lookout; stepdaughter, Anndra Kay Dempsey of Mount Lookout; five stepgrandchildren. Service will be 7:30 p.m. today at White Funeral Home, Summersville, with the Rev. Mark McClung officiating. Friends may call 90 minutes prior to service at the funeral home. Additional service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Rawlings-Coats-Fisher Funeral Home, Middleport. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cheshire, Ohio. Friends may call 90 minutes prior to service at the funeral home.
