She was born June 10, 1907, in Robson. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Layte H. Taylor; one son, Clayton Ray Taylor; parents, George and Mary Rollins Lilly; great-granddaughter, Bridgette Kincaid; three brothers; and one sister. Survivors include a son, Carlos Taylor and wife, Janet, of Robson; two daughters, JoAnn Johnson and husband, Bill, and Lafonda Johnson and husband, Bob, all of Stephenson; two sisters, Ruby Stonestreet of Robson, Alma Hurley of Elkhart, Ind.; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Taylor of Robson, Verda Pennington of Hugheston; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, in the Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Gregory A. Kincaid officiating. Burial will be in Settle Cemetery at Mulberry. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
