Note:   Publication: The Charleston Daily Mail Published: Friday, May 22, 1998 Headline: Isaac Hurley Oak Hill - Isaac Hurley, 86, of Oak Hill died Thursday, May 21, 1998, in Hilltop Nursing Home after a long illness. He was a retired miner and a member of the UMW. Surviving: wife, Avenelle Canterbury Coffman Hurley; daughter, Janet Brand of Berry, Ala.; sons, Thomas and Fred Hurley of Kincaid; stepdaughters, Vonda Ely of Norcross, Ga., Bonnie Smith of Oak Hill, Carol Bunting of Fayetteville, Lynn Vance of Leavenworth, Kan., Patricia Cales of North Carolina; stepsons, Clifford Coffman of Page, Thomas Coffman of Kent, Ohio, Roger Coffman of Lake Milton, Ohio, Edward Coffman of Beckley; brother, Charles Hurley of Phoenix, Ariz.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with Pastor Fred Joseph officiating. Entombment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum 2, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
