Jividen, 84, of Leon passed away Sunday, April 23, 2006, at SunBridge of Putnam following a short illness. Born June 13, 1921, he was the son of the late Carl and Malinda Jividen. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Otis Jividen; and two sisters, Norma Lee Curtis and Doris Jean Jividen. He was a lifelong resident of Putnam County, a proud World War II veteran of the Army, a retired welder from Monsanto Chemical Plant, Nitro, with 30 years' service and a member of Manilla Chapel, Robertsburg. Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Lorene V. Jividen; daughters and their husbands, Hilda Rollins of Buffalo, Janet and Roger Hudnall of Morral, Ohio, and Sandra and David Smith of Red House; sons and their wives, Herman D. and Betheline Jividen of Buffalo and Richard W. and Rheba Jividen of Robertsburg; sisters, Clara Jividen of Eleanor and Phyllis Raynes of Buffalo; brothers, Dencil and Gilbert Jividen, both of Robertsburg, Guy Jividen of Eleanor, Jerald Jividen of Bancroft and Donald Jividen of Circleville, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, at Manilla Chapel with Pastor Carl "Mick" Bailes and Pastor Jeff Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Manilla Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Raynes Funeral Home, Buffalo, and one hour prior to service at the church.
