  Publication: Charleston Daily Mail Published: October 8, 1955 Headline: Mrs. Roxie Werner Buffalo - Mrs. Roxie Huffman Werner, 55, of Buffalo, died yesterday in a Charleston hospital after a year-long illness. She was the widow of John A. Werner. Surviving are a daughter, Carma Lee; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Celestine Stokes of Buffalo and Miss Ethel Werner of Washington; a stepson, Fred Werner of New York; her mother, Mrs. P. L. Huffman of Buffalo; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Bays of Huntington, Mrs. Lillian Hudson of Red House and Mrs. Vivian Reedy of Buffalo. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Cross Creek Church near here, the Revs. D. K. Loroman and Brown Bartlett officiating. Burial will be in Cross Creek Cemetery under direction of the Raynes Funeral Home of Buffalo.
