Jeffries, 44, of 1627 Chandler Drive, was dead on arrival yesterday at Charleston Central Hospital after suffering heart seizure at his home. Mr. Jeffries was a native of Jackson County. He was twice wounded while serving in the European Theater during World War II. A glazier, he was a former employe of Central Glass Co. Surviving: wife, Kathleen; daughters, Mrs. Willa Saunders, of Charleston, Miss Diana at home; brothers, Orin and Bill of Charleston, Jack and Earl of Toledo; sisters, Mrs. Margie Hall of Davis Creek, Mrs. Ruth Workman of Red House, Mrs. Betty Walker, Mrs. Charlotte Nunley of Charleston; two grandchildren. The body is at Cunningham Funeral Home.
