Brisendine Virginia Ruth Jeffries Workman Brisendine, 73, of Charleston died April 9, 1996, at home after a short illness. She was a retired dietitian from Thomas Memorial Hospital. Surviving: husband, Homer J. Brisendine; son, Michael Workman of Georgia; stepson, Michael Brisendine of Silver Spring, Md.; stepdaughters, Janet Bevel and Terry Castle, both of Charleston; brothers, Bill Jeffries of Okeechobee, Fla., Orin Jeffries of Charleston; sister, Betty Walker of Jackson, Mo.; five grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. today at Mattics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Ray Pete Jones officiating. Burial will be in Arbovale Cemetery.
