Note: Publication: Beckley Post Herald Published: January 30, 1959 Theodore Emory Humphries, 79, died Wednesday night in a Beckley hospital after a long illness. He was a retired miner. Survivors include his wife, Russie; a daughter, Mrs. Inez Christian of Ansted; two sons, Ted of Parkersburg and Charles of Warren, Ohio; two stepsons, Fred of Tampa, Fla, and Allen Steele of Mount Hope; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Skaggs of Ansted, and Esther and Noca Humphries, both of Powellton; and 13 grandchildren. The body will be taken to the residence from the Dodd-Payne Mortuary at Fayetteville at 5 p.m. Friday and to the hall one hour before the funeral.
