Note:   Publication: The Charleston Gazette Published: Sunday, August 22, 1999 Headline: Eva Faye Wood Ansted - Eva Faye Wood, 87, of Ansted died Aug. 20, 1999, in an Oak Hill nursing home after a long illness. She was a homemaker, a former retail store employee in Charleston and a lifetime resident of Fayette County. She was a member of Ansted Baptist Church, where she was a former Bible class teacher, and a former Sunday school teacher at Gauley Bridge Baptist Church. Surviving: daughters, Jacqueline Faye Harris of Richmond, Va., Elizabeth Ann Tully of Oak Hill; stepdaughter, Maxine K. Chaffins of Green Valley, Ariz.; sisters, Mayme E. Fredericks of Sun City, Ariz., Justine Long of Ravenswood, Edith Coffman of Hinton; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-grandchild. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ansted Baptist Church with the Rev. Victor Hayes and the Rev. Don Walker officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens, Victor. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Ansted, and one hour prior to service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Ansted Baptist Church or to the American Lung Association.
