Martyn Albert Franklin Martyn, 46, of Clendenin, died suddenly in Charleston yesterday afternoon after an illness of four months. The body was removed to the Bartlett mortuary. He was half owner of the Stephenson-Martyn Drilling company of Clendenin. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Madge Martyn; two daughters, Charlotte and Margaret; seven sons, Jack, Eugene, Charles, Kenneth, Donald, Carl Edward and George Wesley, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. W. H. Turner of Charleston, Mrs. Frank McCray of Fairmont and Mrs. Ruth Bertrum of St. Louis and one brother, W. B. Martyn of Oka.
