Notes
a. Note:   On birth record his mother is listed as Catherine Schenten. In 1855 there was also 10 month old baby named Julie Josephe in his household. She was the illegitimate child of Margaretha Josephe, no father listed in this birth record: "Luxembourg Registres d'état civil, 1662-1941," images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-267-11681-27729-83?cc=1709358&wc=9RY4-BZ9:129628901,130131601 : accessed 8 July 2015), Diekirch > Naissances 1823 > image 804 of 1507; Nationalen Archiven, Luxembourg (National Archives, Luxembourg).
In 1866 when Anton died there were an unusually high number of deaths in Diekirch. Very likely some kind of epidemic. Needs to be checked.
