Note: Publication: The Pocahontas Times Published: June 16, 2005 Headline: Earl Wenger Earl Wayne Wenger, age 64, of Arbovale, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005. Mr. Wenger was a lifelong resident of Arbovale and retired from the Department of Highways. An Army Veteran, he was a member of the V.F.W., Moose Lodge, Pocahontas County Honor Guard, and the American Legion. Born June 20, 1940, at Arbovale, he was the son of the late Earl S. and Ethel C. Puffenbarger Wenger. He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna "Jenny" Wenger. Surviving him are two sisters, Joanne Cacharko, of Baltimore, Maryland, and Rhonda Hamed, of Roanoke, Virginia, and a brother, Donald Wenger, of Baltimore, Maryland. Graveside services were held Sunday afternoon at the Arbovale Cemetery by the Rev. David Rittenhouse with Military Honors conducted by Pocahontas County Honor Corps.
