  Publication: Beckley Raleigh Register Published: Thursday Afternoon, June 17, 1948 Headline: Skelton Woman to Be Buried Friday Funeral services for Mrs. Katy Jenkins, 74, who died yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ray Arthur, of Skelton, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethel Church at MacArthur. The Rev. D. W. French, assisted by the Rev. Cleve Young, will officiate. Burial will be in thf Mt. Tabor Cemetery. The body will be removed from Keyser Funeral Home to the home of a son, Vernnie at 5:30 p.m. today. Mrs. Jenkins was the daughter of the late Ella and John Roop. Her husband, Jacob Jenkins, died several years ago. Surviving are three sons, Lawrence, of Beaver; Vernnie, of MacArthur and Bill, of Prosperity; three daughters, Mrs. Jennettie Runyon, of Soap Creek; Mrs. Mittie Worley, of MacArthur; and Mrs. Jillie Arthur; four brothers, Eddie and Martain Roop, of Charleston; John Roop, of Calloway Heights; and W. M. Roop, of Maple Fork; two sisters, Dela Treadway, of Mt.
