Smith Mrs. Emily Grant Smith, 72, died Monday night at the home of her son, James Smith of Beard's fork, following a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Effie Campbell of Hughes creek. The Rev. H. L. Henson will officiate and burial will be in Hughes Creek cemetery. Other survivors are two other sons, George Fleming of Glen Morrison and Carl Fleming of West Hamlin; two other daughters, Mrs. Flora Riffle of Charleston and Mrs. Verona Bowling of Logan; a sister, Mrs. Vinella Range of Peck's Mills, 28 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
