Jarrell, 69, of White Sulphur Springs died May 24, 1999, at home after a long illness. He was retired from Elkay Mining Co. and was a Baptist. Surviving: wife, Anna Jean Stowers Jarrell; daughters, Sherry Hensler and Kathy Sparks, both of Chapmanville, Barbara McGuire of White Sulphur Springs; sisters, Ernestine Hartley, Marie Chapman, Jean Jarrell and Linda Ward, all of Chapmanville; brother, Troy of Chapmanville; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, with the Rev. Eugene Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens, Godby. Friends may call from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the funeral home.
