Note:   Publication: The Charleston Gazette Published: Friday, June 01, 2007 Headline: Arlene Dorsey Johnson Arlene Dorsey Johnson, 68, of Edmond passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. Born on July 6, 1938, at Mount Olive, she was the daughter of Ralph Dorsey and the late Tabitha Dorsey of Brownsville. Mrs. Johnson was a wonderful lady with a big heart. She was active and full of life every day of her life. She was our gift for such a little while and will be cherished always. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray Johnson Sr.; and sister, Pauline Dickason. Left to cherish her memory is her sons, Bobby (Julie) and Ricky Koch of Pennsboro, Roger Koch of Elkridge and Craig (Kay) Johnson of Edmond; daughter, Rita (Steve) Brumley of Ohio; brother, Bob Dorsey of Smithers; sister, Eva (Bob) Damron of Brownsville; grandchildren, Tabitha, Daniel and Angel Koch and Kristin, Nathan and Justin Brumley; stepgrandchildren, Tiffney and Courtney; and great-grandchild, Chloe. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Paul Syner officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens, Ansted.
