Note:   Publication: The Roanoke Times Published: Oct 16, 2001 Headine: Harold Davis Reynolds Reynolds, Harold Davis, (Ike), 70, of Salem and Riner, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2001, at his home. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army with the 780 th Field Artillery Battalion. He was a retired Teamster, having worked with Associated Transport, Johnson Motor Lines, and Mason Dixon. The son of the late Garver and Esthma Reynolds, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Arnold Reynolds. Surviving is his wife of 48 and one-half years, Betty Link Reynolds; daughters and sons-in-law, Shela R. and Glen Kirby, Debbie R. and Brian Guthrie, Sharon R. Allen; five grandchildren, Ben, David, and Leah Kirby, Betsy and Mandy Allen; one great-grandson, Nathan Jennings. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2001, in the Horne Funeral Chapel conducted by Dr. Glenn Griffin and Mr. Paul Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2001, at Horne Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the oncology department at Lewis-Gale Hospital and Dr. Currie and Ruth Ann also Heartland Home Health Services, Vic and Lori.
