Note: !Lieutenant Reinold Marvin was one of the committee appointed to divide the town of Saybrook in 1665. He was the son of Reinold Marvin, the emigrant, who came to America with his family and brother Matthew Marvin, April 15, 1635. They settled in Hartford, Connecticut, among the Hooker group, afterward in Farmington, and from thence to Saybrook, where he died in 1662. Lieutenant Marvin was only a year old at the time of his arrival in America.
