Note: In the Montgomery County, New York land records - Deeds, vol 3 p 371 (recorded about 1790) is - Augustus Henry, Duke of Grafton, Charles, Lord Southampton, Richard Gamon, Elizabeth Jeffreys and Lucia Jeffreys (spinsters), are the only children of Elizabeth, Lady Augustus Fitzroy, deceased. Formerly Miss Elizabeth Cosby, daughter of William Cosby, Governor of New York. Whereas William Cosby died intestate with his only surviving sister being Elizabeth, Lady Fitzroy - by an Act of the New York Legislature for the relief of Henry Haydock, the Parties of the first part appoint John Watts and Charles Shaw of New York City their attornies.... Who is Richard Gamon? Elizabeth must have married a third time - but when and to who? John Watts was the brother-in-law (or nephew in law) of Sir John Johnson.
