a. Note:   Usually seen as George Augustus Francis Rawdon-Hastings - a crony of George IV. He hyphenated his mother's name after his father's death, to insure a double inheritance. Attended Harrow. Served in American War (and did very well.) Supposedly fathered Sir Francis Hastings Doyle (son of Gen Welbore Ellis Doyle, who was his Col - of the Irish Volunteers - in said war.
