Note: k attended nearby Lathrop school and Jefferson Junior High School in Columbia before graduating from University High School. Frank entered the Navy on 25 April 1944 and served on active duty in the Pacific until his discharge on 3 April 1946. He served aboard USS PC1591 and his decorations included the World War II Victory Medal, American Area Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal and Phillippine Liberation Medal. USN 874 25 62 (Great Lakes, IL) He returned to Columbia following the war, met and married Bonnie Jean Wilson. Frank was employed by Riback Supply of Columbia until his retirement. He was a member of the IOOF Lodge and Wilkes Blvd. Methodist Church. He was given an Odd Fellow funeral.
